W.P. Anderson Park
W.P. Anderson Park is located on East North Avenue just below the Westminster Library. The park features a playground, two covered picnic shelters, and public restrooms.
The Pavilion Shelter features picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a charcoal grill.
$35.00 - three hour rental, $5.00 per hour for each additional hour
The Picnic Shelter is a covered picnic area with tables.
$25.00 - three hour rental, $2.50 per hour for each additional hour.
Rentals are not required for use of shelters but are encouraged for planned activities to ensure availability. To check for availability or to rent either shelter call (864) 647-3200, email or stop by City Hall.
Historic Railroad Depot
Rental of the Depot includes the Depot building and the brick paver areas adjacent to the Depot but does not include the gazebo on the east side of the Depot.
Rentals. Those desiring to schedule an event should contact City Hall at (864) 647-3200 to check on rental availability. The standard hours of use of the Depot are from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Special permission must be granted for events needing to begin sooner or end later than the standard hours.
*You must rent the depot for a minimum of four (4) hours for a total rental fee of $125
*$25 per hour for each additional hour, plus a refundable $100 key/cleaning deposit
Rental fee waivers. In consideration of the contributions made to the local community, the City of Westminster has determined to waive the rental fees for certain Westminster civic groups. Westminster civic groups not on the list but wishing to be considered for having their rental fees waived may submit a request to the City Council for consideration. The City Council has determined that the rental fees will be waived for the following Westminster civic groups.
